Emma Watson Paired up Opposite Tom Hanks in ‘The Circle’

Emma Watson will be seen alongside veteran actor Tom Hanks in the upcoming flick, ‘The Circle’. The James Ponsoldt directorial is an adaptation of Dave Eggers’ novel The Circle, which focuses on the hazards of technology and social media. The 25-year-old actress will play the role of a tech enchanter for the forthcoming production.

She will be essaying lead character Mae, a young woman who gets a job at a massive media company, The Circle. On the other hand, Tom Hanks will be creating the magic on and off the camera. The Academy award winner will be co-producing the project too.

“Emma Watson is one of my favorite actors, and her incredible talent, sensitivity, and deep intelligence will bring an electric energy to The Circle”, said Ponsoldt in a statement. It was earlier being said that Alicia Vikander will star in the movie adaptation but she dropped out of the same for being a part of Bourne 5. ‘The Circle’ is expected to hit the U.S. theatres next year.
