‘Entertainment’ rises higher, John C. Reilly and Michael Cera join the cast of the movie

Filmmaker Rick Alverson`s next `Entertainment’ that is expected to be a fulltime comedy has added actors John C. Reilly and Michael Cera to its board. The film that is under production right now is touted to be a feel good entertainer.

17-year-old Tye Sheridan and 78-year-old veteran actor Dean Stockwell have also joined the cast of the film reportedly. Gregg Turkington plays the lead in this one after having worked with Rick Alverson in the past in ‘The Comedy’. ‘Entertainment’ is a story of an ageing comedian played by Turkington who travels through South-West U.S. to meet his separated daughter and also to rebuild his career that has collapsed. The journey leads him to be lost and disappointed. The film which is scheduled to release next year has been jointly written by Turkington, Alverson and Tim Heidecker.
