Eva Longoria happy to become Harper Beckham's godmother

Hollywood actress Eva Longoria is excited to become godmother of Harper Beckham, the youngest child of power couple David and Victoria Beckham. The soccer star and her singer-turned-fashion designer wife have asked the Desperate Housewives star to play an important role in their baby daughters life, Mirror online reported. "Victoria asked me to be Harper's godmother and of course I said yes. I'm absolutely thrilled. Harper is simply adorable," she said. Eva, who recently referred to Harper as a "chunky monkey", is a close friend of the couple and will also attend the baptizing ceremony of Harper. According to a close source, Beckhams are planning to baptize their youngest kid in a lavish ceremony at their UK home. "David and Victoria feel it's important Harper is christened. And they wanted the ceremony in the UK," the source said. The industry biggies, including Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Will Smith are expected to attend the ceremony.
