Fan Dies While Watching Avengers: Infinity War In India

Avengers: Infinity War marked the biggest opening ever but an unfortunate happening occurred at one of the screenings of the movie in India. A man named Peddapasupula Baasha was found dead in his seat at the end of the show by the staff. The incident occurred in Proddatur, Andhra Pradesh.

According to a report of Times of India, cops believe that the 43-year old suffered a cardiac arrest during the screening. Baasha did not move when the end credits in Infinity War started to roll. The theatre staff noticed this but they did not raise an alarm. There are people who stay until the very end of credits to watch the bonus scenes. But after the post-credits scene ended and yet Baasha did not move from his seat, the ushers checked on him. As per the reports, they found his eyes open under the 3D glasses.

A case under section 174 of CrPC, stating suspicious death, has been registered and the investigation is still going on. The movie is directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. Avengers: Infinity War opened in theatres on April 27 and has become a big hit in India and around the world.
