Fantastic Beast Sequel The Crimes Of Grindelwald Is Entirely Set In Paris?

Latest news reveals that the sequel to the film Fantastic Beasts, The Crimes Of Grindelwald is set almost entirely in Paris. The film directed by David Yates stars Jude Law, Johnny Depp, Eddie Redmayne, Zoë Kravitz, Katherine Waterston, and Dan Fogler in the lead roles. The film is expected to hit theatres in November next year.

Moreover, the executive producer of the film David Heyman revealed, “(The film) almost entirely takes place in Paris. We delve deeper into (J K Rowling’s) wizarding world – we’re in Paris, we’re in London and New York – the world is expanding”. The first movie was set in the United States , which starred Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterson and Colin Farrell in the lead roles.

Further, the first teaser of the film was recently released. Law was recently cast as the young Albus Dumbledore for the Fantastic Beasts sequel and Gellert Grindelwald will be played by Johnny Depp. The producer further said, “The new film has a very different feel than the first. It’s got a thriller quality. We took all we’ve learned from one and just expanded that and created a richer, deeper and more thrilling film which I’m excited to be a part of”.
