First Looks Of Actress Alicia Vikander In 'Tomb Raider' Revealed

The reboot of the Angelina Jolie starrer Lara Croft 'Tomb Raider is all set to be different altogether. Once again it is going to create the magic of the iconic Lara Croft portrayed by actress Angelina Jolie. The first look of the poster has been launched recently and after getting a closer look of Alicia Vikander as the lead actor and audience are waiting eagerly for the film to hit theatres soon.

This film has come after a long gap of 15 years of the original film, which starred Angelina Jolie. Recently, Warner Bros and MGM have also shared the first official poster of the film captioning it, “Her legend begins. #TombRaider, in theaters March 2018". The upcoming 'Tomb Raider' reboot, Alicia also stars Vikander as the globetrotting archaeologist Lara Croft.

It seems like there is more to the new Lara Croft than her choice of weapon. The new 'Tomb Raider' will portray Croft as an ordinary 21-year-old, who lives in London. As the story goes in the original this is also quite similar regarding her longing for her late archaeologist father, which keeps on haunting her. The film is being helmed by Roar Uthaug and stars Walton Goggins as the antagonist.
