First trailer of Ridly Scott’s ‘The Martian’ released

The first trailer of Ridly Scott’s directorial ‘The Martian’ was released on Monday. Matt Damon can be seen playing the role of one of the astronaut who is left behind on the Mars mission. The movie is based on the novel of the same name written by Andy Weir.

The story of the flick is based on a Mars mission in which the team had to leave the planet after being hit by a dust storm. Matt gets separated from the team and considered dead by them but he somehow manages to survive and sends a message to NASA. Now he has to wait for his crew to come back and rescue him.

Recently, movie like Gravity and Interstellar were released which was also based on the same genre. The flick also features Jessica Chastain, Michael Peña, Kristen Wiig and Jeff Daniels in pivotal roles. The upcoming science fiction film is distributed by 20^th Century fox and is set to release on November 25.
