Furious 8 to arrive two years later on April 14, confirms Vin Diesel

So it wasn’t the last ride after all! As most fans and even the industry insiders had predicted that Furious 7 was going to be the last instalment of the series, lead actor Vin Diesel has come up with an announcement to put a huge cheer on the faces of fans. The actor at the Cinema Con panel in Las Vegas announced that they would certainly come with the next instalment of the series as the eighth part.

The actor even went onto announce the release date of the film and said it would hit the screens on April 14, 2017. “It means a lot to me to get your blessing. We were giddy and excited. You all gave me so much confidence. There was so much love”, he said announcing the sequel.

Thanking the distributors for coming up with such a huge release, the actor said, “You’ve been so loyal all along. You helped us create history here.” An emotional side of Diesel of very much evident on his face as he remembered his friend Paul Walker, who he had announced Furious 7 with, two years back. Furious 7 has been able to gross over 1 billion dollars at the international box office and is currently placed at seventh spot in all time highest grosser.
