The show runners of the hit HBO series, Game of Thrones, David Benioff and Dan Weiss feel that the upcoming instalment, season 6, is the best one yet. With this statement, the expectations of the fans will surely go through the roof. The sixth season will premier on April 24.

Talking about the show, David stated that this time, there was no episode that made them feel nervous. Praising the directors, he said, “We had great directors who knew what they were doing, paired with excellent [directors of photography]. We thought at the script stage it might be our strongest season. Then the episodes came in better than we hoped”.

Whether or not the sixth season will be the best, is up to the audience. It should be kept in mind that this season does not have a book to fall back on as the sixth part in the novel series ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ has not been written yet. Season five ended with not just one but several cliff-hangers and season six will have a lot of questions to answer.
