George Clooney goes vocal on his recent arrest

Hollywood star George Clooney went vocal about his recent arrest during a planned protest outside Sudanese embassy in Washington, D.C., on television. The 52-year-old stood strongly on his beliefs and said that he has no desire in running for any office. Clooney believes that as an activist he can be more influential than a politician.When testified before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the Oscar-winning actor said that a joint diplomatic action by the U.S. and China could end violence in Sudan, which is caused by the country's president, Omar Al-Bashir.
