Harrison Ford, the new entry in The Expendables 3 casting net

This is the time to enjoy and cherish for Harrison Ford’s worldwide fans as they can get ready to watch their favourite actor in The Expendables 3, to be released in August 2014. The news has been confirmed by Sylvester Stallone’s tweet which also provided the breaking news that Bruce Willis is no more in the scene for the film.

It has not been declared yet which role would be assigned to Ford, whether he would replace Willis in the film or will be enacting a new character. But as Stallone’s message conveys, he has “been waiting years for this”i.e. working again with Ford. Filmmaker Patrick Hughes of Red Hill fame will be helming the project which also stars Jackie Chan, Nicolas Cage, Wesley Snipes, Kellan Lutz and Milla Jovovich. Some more casting updates are awaited in the next week by the makers of the film. Rumours are doing rounds that the villain’s shoes will be stepped into by Mel Gibson, though there is no confirmation on the same. The Expendables 3’s production work is scheduled to commence later this year or by early next year.
