Henry Cavill may replace Tom Cruise in The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

Guy Ritchie, for the adaptation of the long running American television series The Man from U.N.C.L.E. into a film, is looking for a new face who can fill the place of Tom Cruise. But it seems that the search of the director has ended as according to the buzz, Cruise’s character will now be played byHenry Cavill. The30-year-old has just completed the shooting of his upcoming flick Man of Steel.

According to the reports,Cavillhas been signed for the role in The Man from U.N.C.L.E., which is an adaptation of the series that revolves aroundtwo agents of the United Network Command for Law Enforcement, who fights the evil agents of Thrush. It was noted that Warner Bros. approached several actors to star like Channing Tatum, Johnny Depp, Ben Affleck and Bradley Cooper but they were not able to schedule it with their works.

Warner has not yet confirmed the news but is trying to allot the role to the actor as soon as possible because the film has been in development for ages. All these things came up when Tom Cruise left the flick for his next film Mission Impossible 5.Cavill will be co-starring withArmie Hammer and Alicia Vikander, once hefinalizes his presence in the film.
