Here’s What Michael Fassbender Has To Say About Relationships

Actor Michael Fassbender says that he feels relationships are little risky. The Irish-German actor is dating Oscar-winning actress Alicia Vikander. A few months back, he confessed falling in love with the Swedish actress on the sets of a 2016 romantic period drama ‘The Light Between Oceans’.

The 39-year-old actor says that going into certain relationships is a leap of faith but admits he is comfortable with taking the risk. “Of course. In ('Assassin's Creed') there is a scene where my character takes a so-called 'leap of faith' and jumps down 38m. And I have done that (metaphorically) in many respects. Going into certain relationships or jumping from a cliff into water is a leap of faith. Or in work when we are going for something that seems daunting”, Fassbender told The Red Bulletin when asked if he is comfortable with the risk.

Accepting that he is growing old, Fassbender said that he never think about his life expectancy. “A large part of me thinks when your card is drawn, it is drawn. There is nothing you can do about it. I am aware that I'm getting closer to middle age - hopefully it is middle age - and therefore death, but when you start to really think about it, you begin the process of dying.”, he added.

On the professional front, Fassbender will soon be seen in Justin Kurzel’s ‘Assassin's Creed’, which is scheduled for release on December 21.
