The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 done with its production work

Here comes some happy news for The Hunger Games series fans. Shooting has been completed for the franchise’s next instalment, Mockingjay - Part 2, which is also the final big screen adaptation of Suzanne Collins` international bestseller trilogy.

Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson shot to stardom with this franchise through their characters - Katniss Everdeen, Gale and Peta, respectively. Executive producer Nina Jacobson tweeted in joy, "That`s a wrap. Thank you @SuzanneCollins Thank you @Hibbits Thank you HG Fans. Other than that, I`m speechless.” A picture of the film’s cast was also posted on Twitter which showed Lawrence, Hutcherson, Harrelson and Hemsworth in a tight hug, celebrating the completion of the shooting. Jacobson also wrote, "Goodbye Berlin. With deepest thanks to our remarkable Mockingjay cast and crew.” The Part 1 of the Mockingjay section will open on November 4 while the Part 2 will release on November 20, 2015.
