Idris Elba signs up for his next, Bastille Day

Prometheus, Thor: The Dark World, Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom –it has been a long run for Hollywood star Idris Elba as he has never taken a break from films in the recent times. Latest reports have revealed that Elba has signed up for his next project, Bastille Day.

Earlier the thriller, Bastille Day, was scheduled to be directed byPierre Morel and Baran bo Odar but now none of them is attached with the project anymore. The film revolves around a CIA agent, to be played by Elba, who has been assigned with the task to get rid of an American guy who's the main suspect in a Paris metro attack. But the twist comes when this suspect turns out to be the actual saviour of the city. The project will be produced by Vendome Pictures CEO Philippe Rousselet along with Anonymous Content’s Steve Golin, Bard Dorros and David Kanter.
