Jason Mitchell Joins Kong: Skull Island Cast?

Straight Outta Compton star Jason Mitchell is in talks to join the cast of Kong: Skull Island as a pilot. Jason played the role of Easy-E in the box office hit Straight Outta Compton. He is apparently the second person from the film who will be a part of Kong: Skull Island as earlier this month Corey Hawkins also signed on for the film.

Kong: Skull Island will be another take on the island of the king of the apes. The story will follow a team of explorers who visit the island to satisfy their curiosity. This time the era in which the movie is based will be of a different timeline.

The movie will be helmed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts and will follow the script written by John Gatins and Max Borenstein. Along with Jason Mitchell and Corey Hawkins, the cast will include Toby Kebbell, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John C. Reilly, Tom Wilkinson and Brie Larson. Kong: Skull Island will be released on March 10, 2017.
