Jason Statham, Jessica Alba In Mechanic: Resurrection Image

The upcoming Jason Statham and Jessica Alba starrer 'Mechanic: Resurrection' has got its first photo released by Summit Entertainment. The movie will be the sequel to the 2011 film 'The Mechanic'. The original film, which was directed by Simon West, was a remake of the 1972 film by the same name. It was directed by Michael Winner.
Jason will reprise his role as Arthur Bishop who had put his murderous past behind him. He will be tasked with carrying out a seemingly impossible string of assassinations to get Gina back. Jessica plays Arthur's love interest Gina who he has to save from the clutches of his archenemy.
Directed by Dennis Gansel, 'Mechanic: Resurrection' will hit the screens on August 26. The movie also stars Tommy Lee Jones, Natalie Burn, Sam Hazeldine and Michelle Yeoh. It has been filmed on location in Bangkok and Thailand. The screenplay has been penned by Philip Shelby and Tony Mosher.
