Recently, the actress spoke about bad reviews and shared that she does not care about them. The 35-year-old stated that she makes movies to entertain her fans and not the critics.
“My latest film (Mechanic: Resurrection) is a popcorn movie. I don’t think I’ve ever had a good review, and you know what? I don’t really care. If people walk away smiling and enjoying themselves after watching something I’m in, that’s all I care about”, Jessica said. She added, “I’m not in control of the edit or the writing or the promotion. No one sets out to make a bad movie, we all want it to be good. But it’s a complicated thing to do and it’s a miracle when it all comes together”.
The Good Luck Chuck actress also stated that she likes action films and chooses characters that have a certain strength and toughness. This is why she went for the role of Gina in ‘Mechanic: Resurrection’. Since its release, the movie has grossed $15 million at the worldwide box office. Directed by Dennis Gansel, the sequel brings back Jason as Arthur Bishop.
