Jessica Chastain joins Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak

Guillermo del Toro has made a new addition to the cast of hishaunted-house thrillerCrimson Peak.Yes,Jessica Chastain, anOscar nominated actress forZero Dark Thirtyis now a part ofToro’s follow-up ofPacific Rim.

The36-year-old will join the pre-signed starsEmma Stone, Benedict CumberbatchandCharlie Hunnamof Guillermo’s directorial. Theproject will be financed by Legendary Pictures with Universal Pictures remains an option to join Legendary Pictures later.

The story revolves around a woman, who discovers that her husband is not what he appears to her. The script for the film is written by Del Toro,Matthew RobbinsandLucinda Coxon.More details about the flick are not revealed yet. The film will initiate its shooting in February 2014
