John Cena May Star As 'Dr. Manhattan' In Damon Lindelof's HBO TV Series

Awesome news for all the John Cena fans! The American professional wrestler will be acting again, but this time for the small screen. After The Rock being casted as the DC comic villain ‘ Black Adam’, John Cena is rumoured to be portraying the role of a superhero. Cena is rumoured to portray the character of ‘Dr Manhattan’.

‘Dr. Manhattan’ is a DC Comic character that possesses superpowers such as superhuman strength, telekinesis and teleportation. The Marine star took to his Instagram account to share the images of Watchmen logo and the comic picture of Dr. Manhattan. Screenwriter and producer Damon Lindelof is working towards adapting the Watchmen novel for the small screen at HBO.

With John Cena sharing the images, it can be speculated that the wrestler has been roped into the Damon Lindelof’s project. Lindelof is known for his work in the previous television series such as Lost and The Leftovers. John Cena was last seen in the movie The Wall.
