John Wick 2 Will Hit Indian Screens On February 17

PVR Pictures has announced that ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ will be hitting the screens on February 17 in India. The movie is the follow up to the hit 2014 actioner ‘John Wick’ starring Keanu Reeves, who will be returning for the sequel. This time, unlike the original where both Chad Stahelski and David Leitch directed the film, only Chad will be at the helm of affairs.

In the 2014 flick, Keanu played a retired hitman grieving the loss of his wife. He is forced to re-enter the life of killing, which he chose to leave behind, after a bunch of Russian gangsters steal his car and kill a puppy gifted to him by his late wife. The movie was full of high octane action sequences and jaw dropping fist fights.

The trailer for the sequel brought back the glorious action sequences and then some. This time, there seems to be a price on his head which is why every assassin is trying to kill him. ‘John Wick: Chapter 2’ also brings back Bridget Moynahan, Ian McShane, John Leguizamo and Lance Reddick, among others as well as introduces Common as the main antagonist.
