Johnny Depp, Amber Heard Divorce Finalized

Back in May of 2016, actress Amber Heard filed for divorce from husband Johnny Depp after their 15 month marriage. Now, at a recent hearing where neither of the duo was present, the documents were signed by a judge which finalized their divorce. The former couple tied the knot in February 2015 after their engagement in January of 2014.

The actresses’ attorney was quite happy for her and said, “It is a great day. All Amber wanted was a divorce and now she has it. In the words of Gerald Ford, 'Our long national nightmare is over". Heard and Depp reached a settlement five months ago.

On the work front, Depp was last seen in a cameo role in ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’. His last full fledged film was ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’. On the other hand, Heard was last seen in the crime mystery ‘London Fields’. She will also be seen as Queen Mera in the upcoming Justice League film.
