Johnny Depp got injured on sets of ‘Pirates’

Johnny Depp was reportedly injured while in Australia for the filming of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and is going to need surgery. The Cry-Baby actor is flying back to the United States from Australia to have the surgery done.

While there are no further details about what had exactly happened, Depp was not harmed on the set. His injury will apparently not affect the release of the film. The movie also stars Javier Bardem as the villainous Captain Salazar, Geoffrey Rush reprising his role as Captain Barbossa, as well as fellow Australian Brenton Thwaites as a young British soldier. Espen Sandberg and Joachim Ronning are directing the movie, which is being produced by Disney Studios and Jerry Bruckheimer Productions.
