Johnny Depp liked horror films as a child

Hollywood star Johnny Depp admits he had a fetish for scary movies as a child. The 48-year-old says he had a fascination for dark characters in his childhood. "I certainly had this fascination with monsters and vampires, darkness, mystery and intrigue growing up. Then, as you get older, you recognize the erotic nature of the vampire and the idea of the indeed," the 48-year-oldsaid. Depp also says his two kids with Vanessa Paradis taught him to appreciate life, reported Showbiz spy. "You feel empty. I was angry and frustrated until I started my own family and my first child was born. Until then I didn't really appreciate life the way I should have, but fortunately I woke up."
