The Jungle Book Dominates The Weekend Box Office Again

Running on its third weekend, the animated flick has now reached $684 million. The movie has characters voiced by Scarlett Johansson, Idris Elba, Lupita Nyong'o, Ben Kingsley, Christopher Walken and Bill Murray.
The Chris Hemsworth starrer ‘The Huntsman: Winter's War’ was far behind ‘The Jungle Book’ but still secured the second spot on the weekend box office top five list with its $9.39 million. The worldwide earnings for the Cedric Nicolas-Troyan directorial have reached $130 million on its second weekend. Key and Peele’s ‘Keanu’ was quite close to Winter’s War as it opened with $9.35 million. The movie stars Keygan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele.
Also released alongside ‘Keanu’ was 'Mother’s Day' starring Jennifer Aniston, Sarah Chalke, Kate Hudson and Jon Lovitz. The movie, directed by Garry Marshall, grossed $8.3 million. Ice Cube’s 'Barbershop: The Next Cut' made it to the top five with its $6.1 million. The movie has been in theatres for three weekends and has pooled in $44 million overall.
