Katie Holmes Will Have Cameo In Ocean’s Eight

Batman Begins actress Katie Holmes has confirmed that she will have a guest appearance in the upcoming spin-off of the Ocean's franchise, ‘Ocean’s Eight’. The movie will have an entirely female lead cast including Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter and Mindy Kaling. The movie is being directed by Gary Ross.

Talking about her role, Katie revealed that she will be playing herself. “I'm a fan of all the Ocean's movies. So, I'm happy that it has so many amazing women in it, so many amazing actresses. It's really so much fun being a part of. I play myself. It's just a cameo”, the 38-year-old explained. Previously, it was reported that Matt Damon will also have a cameo in the film.

‘Late Late Show' host James Corden will be present in the film as well, in a supporting role. The squad, lead by Sandra, will attempt to rob her ex. According to reports, Sandra’s character will be the sister of Ocean's trilogy character, Danny Ocean, played by George Clooney. ‘Ocean’s Eight’ will hit the screens on June 8 next year.
