Talking about it, Katie said E! News, "I'm so happy to have married my best friend and love that I finally get to call Tom my husband. Celebrating with our closest friends and family has been nothing short of an amazing experience". The couple exchanged vows in the presence of 100 guests including some co-stars.

Tom said the web portal days before the wedding that he wanted an isolated wedding. He said, "We wanted to be secluded and in the woods and we are just that. It's so pretty,day. Our theme is woodsey-elegance and the thing I'm most, most excited about is that we get to have so many of our close family and friends there. It just makes it that much more special".
