Kevin Feige Talks Captain Marvel, Black Panther, Doctor Strange

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently shared some insight on the studio’s upcoming projects, namely Doctor Strange, Black Panther and Captain Marvel. He revealed that ‘Captain Marvel’ will be an origin story while 'Black Panther' will be a little different. Brie Larson was previously confirmed as Captain Marvel.

“I guess Black Panther isn’t really an origin story since we saw him already in Civil War, but his standalone (film) certainly introduces you to 99% of his world which you never saw before. And Captain Marvel is certainly an origin story from the start”, said Kevin. He also praised Benedict Cumberbatch and said, “I think Benedict is one of those ways. Benedict is an amazing actor and totally different from Hemsworth and totally different from Downey”.

‘Doctor Strange’ will hit the screens on November 4. ‘Black Panther’ will be released on February 16, 2018. Brie will lead the cast of the female centric superhero flick which is scheduled for release on March 8, 2019.
