Kevin Sorbo angry on being denied a cameo in Hercules movie

Actor Kevin Sorbo is reportedly miffed on not being offered and later denied a cameo appearance in the forthcoming Hercules movie. The famous actor who has played the character of Hercules for a long time in TV film series and also directed one is apparently not very happy with the decision of the makers.

The new Hercules movie is being directed by Brett Ratner and stars Dwayne Johnson in the lead. Expressing his anger, the 55-year-old actor said, "I think it`s kind of stupid really, to not put me in a cameo is taking the business out of show business." The actor added that the idea was conveyed to the new team but was turned down. "We approached the director. I don`t know what his reasons are. I don`t know if it was political or ego or what it is? To not put me in for a stupid little cameo? The audience would have loved it," he said.

Anybody from the present Hercules crew was unavailable to make any comment regarding the issue. The film will release in the U.S. this Friday and may well open globally soon. Let’s see if the director justifies the denying of Sorbo through the work he’s done.
