Kristen Stewart signs on to star in Snow White and the Huntsman sequel

Twilightstar Kristen Stewart will reprise her role as the fairy tale princess in a sequel toSnow White and the Huntsman, it has emerged. While the 22-year-old actress is said to have signed on to star in the movie, Rupert Sanders, who directed the first movie, will not be returning to helm the project because of his brief affair with Stewart.

According to sources, Sanders is desperately trying to save his marriage to Liberty Ross, who is believed to be against the idea of the sequel being directed by her husband. Therefore, studio bosses are on the lookout for a new director.

"The script has already been written and production will begin late next year,” a source told RadarOnline.com."However, Rupert Sanders definitely won't be a part of the project. Rupert didn't want to be a part of it to begin with because he is desperately still trying to save his marriage. The search is still on for a new director," the source added.
