Leonardo DiCaprio to be seen next in The Revenant

The Wolf of Wall Street actor Leonardo DiCaprio has finally made his mind about his next project after a brief period of hesitation. Filmmaker Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s directorial venture, The Revenant, will feature the Titanic star, being produced by New Regency and 20th Century Fox.

Both Inarritu and DiCaprio signed up for the film a few days ago but couldn’t chalk out plans how to fit the film in their hectic schedules. The producers of the film want it to go on the floors this fall. Based on Michael Punke’s novel the movie will be set in the backdrop of 1820s’ and focuses on a frontiersman who is full of vengeance against those culprits who left him behind to die in the claws of a bear. The script of the film has been written by Inarritu and Mark L. Smith. DiCaprio is coming back after a strong and successful 2013 with The Great Gatsby and The Wolf of Wall Street.
