Liam Payne Opened Up About His Mental Health Crisis

Hollywood singer Liam Payne recently has opened up about his fight with his mental condition, while he was working with his former band One Direction. He revealed that he used to give fake smiles during his performances. It has been learned that he had struggled to deal with the band’s success.

The 23-year-old singer said, “I shouldn't have been able to do as many shows as we did if I'm honest about it if I'm brutally honest about it. Going out and putting that happy smile on my face and singing the songs, honestly, sometimes it was like putting on one of those costumes, going out there and, underneath the costume, people don't really see what's going on”.

Moreover, the singer revealed that he was at his worst mental condition when his ex-girlfriend Sophia Smith broke up with him. He said, “I let it get to me that day. I wasn't in a good place. And unfortunately I was going through a rough time and I let it get to me a little bit too much. That was it”. He even had to cancel a show in Belfast after that.
