Lily James and Christopher Plummer to star in The Kaiser’s Last Kiss

Lily James and Christopher Plummer are set to star in The Kaiser’s Last Kiss. The movie will be helmed by David Leveaux. The film is the big screen adaptation of Alan Judd’s novel of the same name.

The script for the film has been written by Simon Burke. The story focuses upon the ‘40s invasion of Holland by the Nazi forces. The German forces come face to face with their former ruler Kaiser Wilhelm. In an attempt to stop the invasion the Dutch work with Winston Churchill and plant an agent into Kaiser’s home. A dangerous romance begins between a German officer and a Dutch women, which can alter the path of the war.
