Luc Besson on 'Lucy' sequel: For Info: No I Do Not Prepare Lucy 2. Neither Yesterday Nor Tomorrow.

Latest news reveals that Hollywood Filmmaker Luc Besson has surprisingly denied that he is working on the sequel to the 2014 hit film 'Lucy'. According to reports head of Besson's studio, EuropaCorp has recently confirmed that the sequel to the film is going to happen and soon after that this news broke out. The filmmaker took to his social media account to reveal his words.

Aiming at the journalists the filmmaker went to his Instagram account to write, “For info: no I do not prepare Lucy 2. Neither yesterday nor tomorrow. Yet this fake News has been around the world thanks to you ....” he further went on adding, “You will say to me: 'It is not very serious.' It is true, you are right... But it is 'false' and normally this word should not be part of your vocabulary, because if we can no longer (believe you), how do we hold a democracy?”

He also quoted, “Our freedom depends on your integrity”. Earlier, reports were that CEO Marc Shmuger had said that EuropaCorp is set to make the sequel of the film'Lucy'. On the work front, Luc Besson is currently busy with his upcoming film Anna which features Helen Mirren, Luke Evans, Cillian Murphy and Besson’s newest discovery Russian model Sasha Luss, as Anna.
