The Suicide Squad star will reportedly star opposite Saiorse Ronan in the upcoming flick. The story of the film will focus on the rivalry between Elizabeth and Mary. In history, it is recorded that Mary once claimed the throne of England and was convicted for plotting to assassinate her cousin Elizabeth.

Josie Rourke will be helming ‘Mary Queen of Scots’, which is written by Michael Hirst and Penelope Skinner. Moreover, Margot Robbie has recently completed the production schedule of sports biography 'I, Tonya'.
