Matthew McConaughey Acted In ‘Sing’ For His Children

He is appreciated for his unmatchable roles in movies like Christopher Nolan’s ‘Interstellar’. Recently, he appeared in an animated movie titled ‘Sing’. Matthew has now disclosed the reason why he chose to act in this film.
The Killer Joe star revealed that he took up the role in ‘Sing’ because he wanted to do a film which his children could watch. Matthew has two sons and a daughter with his wife Camila Alves. He has lent his voice for koala Buster Moon in the animated musical-comedy film, ‘Sing’. According to Contactmusic, he was desperate to act in an animated movie for his children.
While giving an interview to Christine Lampard on ‘This Morning’, McConaughey revealed that he was tired of answering this question, 'So what film have you made that is your kids' favourite?'. He divulged that he analysed he haven’t done any film in 10 years which his children could see. While watching animated movies with them, he got an idea to work in this genre. But, he waited for 4 years for this opportunity. He said, “Nobody was hiring me for about four years and then I got a call. It's a lot of fun, it's easier than live action."
