Matthew McConaughey not returning to idiot box

The Wolf of Wall Street star Matthew McConaughey has put all the rumours about him returning to television via True Detective 2 at halt. The actor said, “I won’t be back for season two. Season one was finite. It’s a different time in television. It’s not there’s not that feeling of if you’re having a successful film career and somebody brings up something on television we didn’t know, at the time when I got it, where it was going to be. All I knew is I read the first two episodes, and I was in. And I was just, at the time, looking for quality.”

The surmises about McConaughey coming back on television came up after the actor gave a series of hit flicks; Magic Mike, Dallas Buyers Club and The Wolf of Wall Street. It’s a sad news for his fans who wish to see more of him on screen, doesn’t matter big or small. At present, Matthew is shooting for Interstellar under the direction of Christopher Nolan. The film will be a science fiction, slated to be out on November 7, this year.
