New Assassin’s Creed Trailer Released

20th Century Fox has released a new trailer for the upcoming film ‘Assassin’s Creed’. Releasing in December, the movie stars Michael Fassbender as a descendent of the Assassin, Aguilar. The trailer shows some new action sequences as well as some more details on the plot.

Michael plays a convicted criminal named Callum Lynch, who is brought in by Abstergo Industries, an organisation that is hell bent on discovering the secrets of the Assassin’s from the 15th century Spanish inquisition. The movie has been based on the video game series by Ubisoft. This is the first time Ubisoft Motion Pictures has ventured into feature films.

The cast for ‘Assassin’s Creed’ includes Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, Brendan Gleeson and Michael K Williams. Directed by Justin Kurzel, the movie will hit the screens on December 21. This won’t be the first video game adaptation. Tomb Raider starring Angelina Jolie was also based on the popular video game series.
