New Character Posters For Star Wars: The Force Awakens Released

Star Wars: The Force Awakens has got five new character posters that showcase Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega and Adam Driver as their iconic characters. Following the release of the recent trailer that has gotten the fans all hyped up, the new character posters just add to the anticipation for the release. The movie will hit theatres on December 18.

The Force Awakens will take place 30 years after Return of the Jedi and follow the events the sixth episode. Old characters from the franchise will be returning and will be joined by a new generation of heroes. Harrison Ford will reprise his role as Haan Solo and Carrie Fisher will return as Leia Organa.

J.J. Abrams has directed the upcoming film which has been produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Bryan Burk and Abrams. The cast for the film will include Mark Hamill, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Max Von Sydow. The screenplay has been written by Lawrence Kasdan, J.J. Abrams and Michael Arndt.
