New Trailer For The 5th Wave Released

Based on one of the best selling adult novels, the cinematic adaptation of The 5 th Wave has got an official trailer released by Columbia Pictures. The alien invasion movie will star Chloe Grace Moretz who is known for her role as Hit-Girl in the Kick Ass franchise. She will play a survivor who sets of on a quest to save her younger brother.

The trailer reveals the plot of the film, along with some of the action sequences and the star cast. Chloe will play the role of 16-year-old Cassie, who, along with others, is trying to survive the 5 waves of the alien invasion. The first wave cut all the power followed by the second wave that brought a massive earthquake that disrupted everything. The third wave caused disease among the people and the fourth had the aliens take human form, killing other humans.

Preparing for the 5th wave, Cassie will try to save her brother and humanity with the help of young man. Directed by J. Blakeson, the movie will release on January 29 next year. Along with Chloe, the cast will include Nick Robinson, Ron Livingston, Maggie Siff, Alex Roe and Maika Monroe.
