Hollywood director Patty Jenkins is on cloud nine with the smashing success of ‘Wonder Woman’. The movie was released two months ago in most parts of the world. The movie is known to have raked in 103.2 million dollars on its opening day.

Now, the movie is deemed to cross the 800 million dollars box office collection, after it will release in Japan on August 25. Recently, Warner Bros. Studios announced the release date of the Wonder Woman sequel which is December 19, 2019. According to rumours, Patty Jenkins is being deemed as the first woman to enter the hall of fame of directors which include Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder, who have helmed high grossing movies.

Moreover, it is being said that Patty Jenkins will be receiving the highest pay ever received by a female director to helm the sequel of ‘Wonder Woman’. After all, Jenkins is the director of the third-highest grossing film in Warner Bros.’ history, following Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight series. Patty’s first directorial in Hollywood was Charlize Theron starrer Monster.
