Reese Witherspoon to produce and star in Disney’s Tinker bell movie

Reese Witherspoon is set to produce and star in Disney’s Tinker Bell movie. Tink will be a live-action take on Peter Pans character Tinker Bell. The 39-year-old actress will be producing the movie with Bruna Papandrea under their banner Pacific Standard.

Victoria Strouse will be writing the script of the film. Strouse also wrote the script for the upcoming sequel of the beloved movie Finding Nemo. The Disney project currently has no director attached with the film and makers remain tight lipped over the plot of the film.

Tinker Bell is the fictional character drawn up from J.M. Barrie’s 1904 play Peter Pan. The character has since appeared in Disney’s 1953 animated film and has become one of the stand-out characters at Disney. Witherspoon was most recently seen on the big screen along with Sofia Vergara in Hot Pursuit.
