Reese Witherspoon To Star In The Final Season of ‘The Mindy Project’

Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon has been approached to guest star in the television series ‘The Mindy Project’. Mindy Kaling, who is the creator and actor in the show, confirmed about the same on Instagram. She posted a photo and captioned it as, "Our latest The Mindy Project guest star is the only woman i would want to be trapped in a cave with. (This is weirdly the second cave we have acted in together!)"

Looking at the photo, it seems that both of them are in a cave. This is the second time that both Kaling and Witherspoon are teaming up. They will also be seen in Ava Duvernay's A Wrinkle in Time, where Reese will essay the role of Mrs. Whatsit, while Kaling will play Ms. Who.

Apart from Reese, the show will also feature other guest stars such as Seth Rogen, James Franco, Shonda Rhimes, Freida Pinto, Stephen Colbert, Greta Gerwig and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. This will be the sixth and the final season of ‘The Mindy Project’. The show will premiere on September 12.
