Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Gets New Trailer Titled ‘Trust’

Disney and Lucasfilm have revealed a new short trailer for the upcoming film ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’. The 1 and a half minute clip shows some new action sequences and more plot details. Felicity Jones leads the cast of the film which has been directed by Gareth Edwards.

The trailer has been titled ‘Trust’ and starts with Jyn Erso’s mother (presumably) telling young Jyn to “trust the Force”. The plot of the film is quite well known by now. The Resistance try to steal the plans for the Death Star before it is completed. The movie has been set between ‘Revenge of the Sith’ and ‘Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope’.

The cast for ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ includes Diego Luna, Donnie Yen, Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen, Forest Whitaker and Riz Ahmed. It will hit theatres on December 16. The movie will be the first of several spin-off films that are part of the epic Star Wars universe.
