Russell Crowe dusts off dating rumours with Samantha Barks

Romance has not yet bloomed between Russell Crowe and hisLes Miserablesco-star Samantha Barks as the Hollywood superstar has laughed off all the dating rumours between the two. Rumours were doing rounds after an Australian magazine claimed that the duo looked like more than just friends at a post-Oscar party. Crowe tweeted in denial, "@SamanthaBarks apparently we are an item according to Aussie magazines, sorry about that Sammi."

Barks who debuted with the hit musical movie, also tweeted, "Rumours are hilarious and not true! #funnyoldworld :)" The rumours were fuelled up when 48-year-old Crowe and 22-year-old Barks were clicked in Los Angeles shortly after the Oscars, working out together and then enjoying lunch.

In the recent past, Crowe also denied dating singerNatalie Imbruglia. He tweeted, "I am not having an affair with nor am I dating Natalie Imbruglia.” It’s also not official yet if Crowe and his wifeDanielle Spencerhave really called it quits or not while Barks is said to be dating Welsh television hostMatt Johnson.
