Russell Peters, Faizon Love Starring in ‘Ripped’

Directed by Brad Epstein, Ripped will feature stand-up comedians Russell Peters and Faizon Love. It will be a stoner buddy comedy. The screenplay will be written by Brad and Billiam Coronel. 

Russell has put his ‘Almost Famous World Tour’ on hold for the shooting of the film. The plot for the movie is currently unknown. Russell was seen as a judge on the show ‘Last Comic Standing’ and in the movie ‘Chef’, directed by Jon Favreau. On the other hand Faizon Love featured in movies like ‘Couple’s Retreat’, ‘Friday’ and ‘Elf’.

Russell Peters is a Canadian stand-up comedian. He started his career in Toronto in 1989. Faizon started as a comedian and moved on to films at the age of 19. Brad Epstein has produced ‘Ghosts of Girlfriends Past’, ‘Dan in Real Life’ and ‘About A Boy’. ‘Ripped’ will be produced by Pelican Point Media, Ike Suri, Epstein and Javier Chapa.
