Russell surrenders marital home to Katy to keep divorce amicable

If reports are to be believed then British comedian RussellBrand has decided to give ownership of the USD 6.5 million marital home to ex-wifeKaty Perry as part of their divorce settlement. The couple, who had filed for divorcein December just 14 months after their marriage in India, had bought this mansion inthe Hollywood Hills after their marriage. As Russell and Perry have not signed anyprenuptial agreement prior to their marriage, it makes Brand legally entitled to half ofPerry's USD 44 million fortune but the actor claims that he doesn't want anything fromPerry, TMZ online reported. "It's all part of the property settlement agreed betweenRussell and Katy," a source said. The sources added that Brand is keen to make theirdivorce as amicable as possible.
