Rutger Hauer adds to cast of ABC musical comedy ‘Galavant’

Veteran actor Rutger Hauer has been roped in for a special role in ABC musical comedy series Galavant. The actor will be playing more of a negative role this time. The 70 year old actor will play Kingsley, the older brother to ‘King Richards’ being played by Timothy Omundson. The show already has a rich ensemble cast attached to it.

Galavant is a vengeance fairytale story about a knight seeking revenge from King Richard for taking the love away from his life. While Joshua Sasse will be playing the central character of the Knight, the other cast includes Mallory Jansen, Karen David and Vinnie Jones in prominent roles. Rutger has earned himself quite a respected position for himself owing to his roles in Blade Runner, Sin City and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. The guest star cast includes Ricky Gervais, John Stamos and Hugh Bonneville.
