Sad News For Daniel Day-Lewis Fans!

This is really sad news for all the Daniel Day-Lewis fans. The English actor announced his retirement from acting. This was revealed by the Oscar winner’s publicist in a statement which was reported by American magazine The Hollywood Reporter.

The publicist of the Lincoln star, Leslee Dart shared a statement which read, "Daniel Day-Lewis will no longer be working as an actor. He is immensely grateful to all of his collaborators and audiences over the many years. This is a private decision and neither he nor his representatives will make any further comment on this subject".

The 60-year-old has one last untitled movie which will be based on the fashion fraternity and is deemed to be a future contender for prestigious awards. The ‘Gangs of New York’ is famously known to have quit the world of theatre back in 1989. The actor has won Oscars for movies Lincoln, There Will Be Blood and My Left Foot.
