Santoro to play Jesus in his next !

Brazilian Actor Rodrigo Santoro, who has been seen in movies such as Love Actually (2003), 300 (2006), Rio (2011) and 300: Rise Of An Empire (2013) is all set to play the biblical figure of Jesus in the remake of cult classic film Ben-Hur, as repported by Hollywood Reporter.

The 39 year-old- actor  is in negotiations to be a part of this project. The movie is a remake of 1959 classic which won 11 Oscars including Best Picture. The movie also stars Jack Huston, Tony Kebbell and Morgan Freeman. The story will see no changes and would lead to Jesus's crucifixion. The movie starts shooting in Europe this winter.
